Steve believes sustainability is a core element of any policy or action the Council takes. We are in a new paradigm, with air quality, water, energy - the environment in general - taking a larger role in all our decision processes to comply with state and federal mandates. We need to refine our general plan and streamline our processes further and instill greater internal accountability. Financial Sustainability is critical for the organization. As City Audit Committee Chairman, Steve has worked to ensure our tax dollars are wisely spent and transparently reported.
