The ATM is now in service at the Palmdale Transportation Center, providing commuters a convenient resource for cash withdrawls for bus or train fare and pocket change for that last minute errand enroute to work or home, without having to go out of their way during their hectic commute times.

Additional ATM's will be available at popular city venues, and debit machines will be installed for customer convenience at others. These services were added after I listened to residents concerns for convenience and safety, and bringing it to reality as an easily achievable, but significant service for our residents.

Another ATM is due for installation in the lobby of the Chimbole Cultural Center. The Cultural Center is centrally located at the Civic Center complex, providing convenient access to residents attending functions at the Cultural Center, the popular Thursday Night on the Square at Poncitlan Square, enjoying the nearby Playhouse activities, or conducting business at City Hall.

The concept was expaned to provide Debit and Charge machines at other locations, as well. The one at Development Services will be convenient for residents and builders for paying permits and other transactions. The Oasis Water Park will see one, as well, providing this convenient alternative for water park patrons.

I hope to bring an ATM to the lobby of the Sheriff's Station soon, as well. This is the ideal safe place to place an ATM machine, and was on my original list of preferred locations. I have reiterated this goal to the city staff.
